After a Work Order has been completed in the field, it receives the “Completed” status and must be approved in order to be moved to the “Ready” (for invoicing) status:
The details on this grid include the following:
- Work Order number (WO#)
- Start Date/Time
- Service Type
- Total Charge
- Job Description
Only submitted and cancelled orders show up in this grid. Both types need to have all completed and approved documents and Field Tickets (canceled orders) in order to be approved.
Approving Work Orders
1. On the Approval window, select a Work Order from the list.
2. Mark the checkbox on the line for this Work Order.
3. Click the Approve button. Approved Work Orders receive the Ready status and disappear from the grid.
To approve multiple Work Orders at a time, mark the checkboxes next to the WO#s and click the Approve button. Select and deselect all lines at once by choosing the “Select All” or “Deselect All” buttons, respectively.
